La Rosa enflorece Dit is één van de bekendste Sefardische liederen (ladino is de taal van de Sefardische Joden uit Spanje). De Sefardische liederen werden van moeder op dochter overgeleverd. De melodie van deze romance wordt nog steeds gebruikt voor de piyyut (religieuze hymne) "Tsur Mishelo Achalnu" die gezongen wordt tijdens de sjabbat. This is one of the most wellknown Sefardic songs (ladino is the language of the Sefardic Jews from Spain). The Sefardic songs were taught from mother to daughter. The melody of this romance is still being used for the piyyut (religious hymn) "Tsur Mishelo Achalnu", a sjabbat song.
